Victoria Square Print

Victoria Square was a major development on the Belfast landscape made up of over 75,000m2 of commercial, residential and leisure space and 17 different contextual buildings with a central public square covered by a magnificent glass dome. The development has over 100 apartments and 98 retail units housing some of the UK’s most popular households brands including a flagship House of Fraser store, Topshop and Apple as well as restaurants, a multi-screen cinema and underground parking facilities.

Mastercraft’s brief on this contract was to manage and carry out all aspects of joinery. This encompassed the refurbishment of the listed buildings on the Anne Street perimeter of the site, coffered ceilings along the public walkways and the fit out of all residential units.

The company was also involved in the multi-screen cinema element of the project, constructing all of the tiered seating, fitting of the acoustic access doorsets and the fit out of ticket and confectionary outlets.
